Tenino Lions Club (MD19-E8 Ione WA)?
Tenino Lions Club has been resilient during the pandemic and continued to serve our community. With many families in need because of the current economic situation, our club has been providing support for the Tenino Food Bank.
Some of our members helped make improvements to their facility, including pouring a concrete pad for garbage & recycle bins and adding a door for access.
Our volunteers have helped the Tenino Food Bank every Tuesday to manage traffic, sort produce, aid in loading and unloading and storage of food items since early March.
We are also preparing for our annual food drive. Our meeting facility, which is operated by the City of Tenino, is closed due to the current regulations from Thurston County and out of precaution.
Even with our regular meetings cancelled, we are still making an impact and finding ways to collaborate digitally or by being socially-distanced.
