Sorrento Lions Club (MD-19 -D8)
The Sorrento Lions Club, Zone 8 and will be celebrating our 49th Charter Night in May 2021. The club donated to the Sorrento Food Bank on October 28, 2020 in the amount of $1,500.00 CAD to assist them with their Christmas hampers for our community.
Every Tuesday since March 31, 2020 we have been delivering groceries to seniors in our community from the Lighthouse Market.
This could be a good project for any club as any park would do, and a Lions Club could take on as much or as little as they want to.
For planning the project and regular meetings, we are meeting via Zoom, and keeping in touch with emails, which we normally do anyway. We are waiting on our local restaurant to give us the go-ahead to meet there again.
