Lynn Valley is an amazing community, as we all know. The outpouring of support and the love of the neighborhood after the Mountain Village fire was heartwarming. Neighbors and businesses alike came together within hours to create a space to give and to heal. The support wasn’t short lived…donations continued to come in to the Blueshore Fire Relief Fund into the fall of 2018. The community spirit knows no bounds.
It’s come to our attention that there are gaps in the system, gaps we don’t want our community to fall into during a tragedy or an emergency. The Lynn Valley Lions Club Society are creating a Community Emergency Fund that will accept donations regardless of event or emergency.
The First Annual Sip & Savour Lynn Valley was a great success with proceeds over $8,000 to the Community Emergency Fund. We continue to build this fund through fundraising initiatives.
We are so proud to work with our community FOR our community!
