The 2014 Canada Parade was a great success. There were 80 entries and approx 20,000 spectators along the North Vancouver Route. The Lynn Valley Lions served over 620 pancake breakfasts beforehand at Grand Boulevard to generate almost $2000 for Lions Community Programs. Great progress occurring with the construction of Lynn Valley’s first Community Garden. Many thanks to the organizers and many volunteers and tradesmen to help make this project happen. During Labour Day weekend, Lions were on Lions. A great trek to summit 7000′ overlooking Vancouver and Howe Sound. Awesome endeavour with Lions Robb, Eric, and Rob with potential Leo (Rob’s son).
