At least 24 local families this year were presented with a custom Lynn Valley Lions Christmas hamper assembled and delivered with Christmas wishes and all made possible from proceeds of our Christmas tree sales. The following is an excerpt from a letter received. It sums up nicely why we are Lions.

“I believe you took my call for a Christmas Hamper. I arrived home with my young daughter and saw the hamper at the door. I was so moved by the generosity, it was hard to keep the tears back. I have never asked for this kind of help before…I also appreciate your discretion in taking my call…the Club fills a very important need. On behalf of my daughter and I thank you for the wonderful Christmas gift.”
